We understand the need to have your new or renewed vessel put through it’s paces to ensure it meets its expected performance criteria. Our highly capable and versatile crew have a variety of hands on experience with both Engineering and Master disciplines in Blue water and Coastal operations. With relevant industry knowledge on all manner of vessels from small punts, tug and barge operations, offshore survey vessels, oil and gas projects, coastal barging and inner harbour ferry and tourism operations our team is capable of helping with the arduous task of making sure your project is ship shape.
Of course once your vessel is certified or ready for delivery we can arrange everything to help with the delivery logistics. Crewing, passage plans, permits, bunkering operations, victuals and berthing. Knowing that having your vessel safely delivered in good shape and on time is a priority for any customer and we have a proven track record with references available.

PROVISIONS & SUPPLIES

Given the always changing requirements of the maritime industry we understand the need to have operational support available around the clock. Our services are available to deliver your much needed engine/machinery parts, victuals, support supplies and ancillary equipment day or night as needed.
Depending on the volume, size or weight of your requirements we have the ability to cater to your needs with a variety of vessels for both inner harbour and offshore deliveries. With some dangerous goods, gas cylinders and lube oil cylinders not able to be loaded or discharged alongside the wharves due to local port rules we can facilitate these deliveries safely and in accordance with strict procedures. Our local knowledge and understanding of Newcastle harbour and associated infrastructure gives us the edge.
CREW TRANSFERS
Provide offshore and inshore crew transfer services to all manner of vessel utilising the Port of Newcastle and its surrounds.
Our purpose built Pilot boat ‘Spitfire’ was designed and built specifically for the purpose of Pilot/Crew transfers by the reputable ‘Norman Wright n Sons’ in Queensland, Australia. Our vessel is in full AMSA 2C survey for 2x crew and 12x passengers to 30nm and is capable of 22knots with a cruise speed of 12knots.
Transfers usually occur off the Newcastle coast at the ports dedicated anchorage located approximately 7 nm south of the harbour entrance. Crew transfer operations can happen both at anchor or whilst underway depending on requirements and vessel operations. When underway your vessel can come to within the 4nm of the harbour entrance to conduct transfer operations. Vessels passing Newcastle in either direction can be reached with minimal disruption to passage planning and with Newcastle airport so close to the harbour it is an ideal location for fly in/fly out repatriation. Our services can include pick up and drop off from hotels, Newcastle airport or train station.
